Project PAROS
Project PAROS is the Way of HOPE short-term summer opportunity centered at the LIGHTHOUSE center near Lake Sevan, the highest Alpine lake in the world. Held typically during the first two weeks of July, Project PAROS focuses on summer youth day camps, special events for young adults, and hands-on assistance at HOPE office and LIGHTHOUSE center. There are also opportunities to visit several historic sites of interest.
In the Eastern Armenian language, paros is the word for “lighthouse.” In the Gospel of JOHN 12:8, we read the words of Jesus: I AM the Light of the world…
It is our hope that all who come to participate in this special program will be faithful channels through whom His Light will shine on Armenian teenagers and young adults.
